Farm Manager

Since 1980 Gary has worked with Thoroughbreds in Central Kentucky. Prior to joining Denali as farm manager in 2006, Gary was General Manager of WinStar Farm for four years and added the title of CEO after one year there. Previously he was with Three Chimneys Farm for 20 years, serving as Broodmare Manager for 14 of those years. A hands on horseman, Gary works closely with broodmares and their owners to establish goals for their Thoroughbred investments.

Assistant Farm Manager

Theresa has been with Denali Stud for 19 years. She started out as manager of the Yearling Division and then in 2009 became Assistant Farm Manager working in the Broodmare Division. She is a native of Central Kentucky and is married and has one daughter.

Donnie Snellings

Yearling and Sales Manager

A third generation horseman, Donnie's father and grandfather were both in the hunter jumper business. Growing up riding ponies and horses in northern Virginia, Donnie's family moved to Kentucky in 1980 when his father took a job with Spendthrift Farm. Donnie worked there with training horses, then stallions and yearlings. Five years later he took a job with Strodes Creek Stud as the yearling manager. In 1988 Donnie took a job with Mill Ridge Farm as the yearling manager and was employed there for more than 20 years, working with mares and foals, stallions and yearlings. Donnie joined Denali in March 2009 as yearling and sales manager. Donnie has a wonderful girlfriend and two beautiful daughters. He enjoys hunting, fishing and riding his Harley Davidson.

Aly Strainer

Director of Sales

Aly Strainer is a native of Saratoga Springs, NY and has spent her entire life in the thoroughbred industry. After galloping at various tracks and receiving her Bachelor's Degree she managed a farm and training center in Connecticut before moving to Lexington in 2007. She has been with Denali since 2010 and is currently the Director of Sales.

Controller

Laura Brown, a central Kentucky native, joined Denali Stud as Controller in November 2004. She is responsible for all areas of accounting including sales. Prior to Denali Stud she served as Controller in other Central Kentucky companies. She is married and has one daughter.

Sara Fagan

Sara Fagan

Equine Operations Coordinator

Sara Fagan started in the thoroughbred industry working at Cobra Farm with broodmares and foals while finishing her degree at Midway College. After graduating from Midway's Equine Management Program she went on to work as a veterinarian assistant for reproductive veterinarians Dr. William Fishback and Dr. Walter Zent of Haygard Equine Clinic and later with racetrack veterinarian Dr. John Cummins. From there she went to work for Arch Bloodstock and has been in her current position with Denali Stud since 2008. A native of Ohio, she has resided in Central Kentucky since 2001 and enjoys photography and showing or foxhunting her horses on the weekends.

Audrey Jarrett

Assistant Director of Sales

Audrey Jarrett is from the small town of Belfast, Maine, where she grew up until moving to Lexington to attend the University of Kentucky in 2004. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Equine Science in 2008 and went on to work as an Assistant Manager at Valley View Farm in Midway, Kentucky. From there she travelled and worked abroad in both New Zealand and Australia, working the breeding and sales seasons for top stud farms Windsor Park Stud and Arrowfield Stud. Audrey moved back to Lexington in August of 2011 and was contracted with the University of Kentucky to be a Project Coordinator for the state-wide equine study called the Kentucky Equine Survey. She joined Denali Stud in January of 2013 as Assistant Director of Sales.
